Godswill Anozie

Godswill Anozie joined Westlake Flooring in 2016 and has held various pivotal roles, starting as a Credit Analyst and advancing to Underwriting Manager before assuming his current position as Director of Underwriting.

Anozie earned his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Business Administration from California State University Northridge (CSUN).

In his role as Director of Underwriting, Anozie is responsible for risk assessment, policy development, team management, decision making, compliance, and quality assurance. His primary focus is ensuring that Westlake Flooring adheres to sound underwriting principles that comply with industry standards and support the company’s vision and goals.

Anozie has made significant contributions to the company, including creating efficiencies in the underwriting process through automation to optimize performance and minimize human error. He has also implemented processes that improve communication and transparency by keeping the external team informed and involved in decision making. Under his leadership, underwriting reviews per employee have increased, and underwriting time has been reduced by over 65%.

Anozie’s goals for Westlake Flooring include maintaining profitability, growing the company’s reach in the inventory financing space, and expanding its presence in the field, at dealerships, and at auctions.
